The Austrian Open Air Museum

Having been in the delightful capital of Styria, Austria - Graz town, you should definitely visit the local open-air museum (The Austrian Open Air Museum), which is located directly in Shtyubinge that ten miles from Graz, right in the picturesque river valley Moore.
We can say that the museum is right in the woods, as much as sixty acres. In the woods the museum settled about a hundred pieces, which are the subject of the peasant way of life of the past. There was this exposition in 1962, when from all over Austria here Sveza were the most interesting old houses of the peasants, mills, blacksmith shops, vehicles, barns, tools of peasant labor. They all share one thing - they had to do with rural life. Here you can see the apartment building, covered with reeds, a house with a smoker, alpine huts, as well as rare plants and trees.

Contemplating the presented exhibits, can be traced, as Mill has evolved to facilitate peasant labor, as evolved tools - from the ordinary to the crescent of mechanical threshers and wagons, carrying the harvest. Everything here works: spinning mill, and even local residents demonstrate ancient crafts - publicly spun and cut the tree.
This unique museum will look into the world of Austrian farmers, learn about their life and at the same time receive from enjoying the outdoors a pleasure. The museum allows you to feel the true spirit of bygone times, and even for a moment feel like an ordinary Austrian farmer of the 19th century. Open this museum from April to late October.
