Aletsch resort in Switzerland

There is a "Switzerland for tourists", but there is a "Switzerland for the Swiss." The first is characterized by a large number of tourists and high prices. The second most beautiful and the service is not very different from the first, but significantly (20-50%) cheaper and less crowded. In the case of ski resorts to the "Swiss tourist" can be justly attributed Zermatt, Saas Fe, Verbier, Gstaad, Davos and St. Moritz. The remaining 210 ski resorts are little known to tourists, although some of them are superior in quality ski-known tourist centers. One of such places, dearly loved Swiss, is Aletsch ski resort located in sunny canton of Valais, about 50 km south of the center of Switzerland. A special attraction of this place makes the largest glacier in Europe - Aletsch. For a typical resort plenty of snow, sunny days, wide ski slopes, the lack of queues at the lifts (weekdays) and friendly attitude towards tourists.
