For many centuries, the castle Burg suffered a variety of changes, so have survived only minor construction of buildings. Then the building (Burg, Grazer Burg) was used as the residence of the Austrian small yard, but now there are departments of the government. On the grounds of the castle held events, congresses and conferences.
The most famous and interesting part of the castle is located the original twisted Gothic double staircase in the middle of the building. It has completed construction for Maximilian I, son of Frederick.
The ladder represents two separate structures that connect to each other on the steps and spans floors. This architectural masterpiece is interpreted as a symbol of eternity. Behind the castle Burg is a cozy little park, where the greenhouse.
